Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21st, 2026

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Remmebr, operated by Mariah Waslie. By using Remmebr, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By requesting access to, signing in to, or using Remmebr (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Remmebr. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. The Service

Remmebr is a study tool that helps you organize notes and study material and apply techniques such as spaced repetition, active recall, and the Feynman technique, including optional AI-assisted features. Remmebr is currently offered in a closed beta and access may be limited or invitation-based.

4. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses a link sent to your email. Notify us promptly at mariah@remmebr.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, documents, and other material you add to Remmebr ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — including sending it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy when you use an AI feature. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

7. AI features

AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for study assistance only. It is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and you should verify anything important against a reliable source.

8. Subscriptions and billing

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Remmebr and its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any study outcome will be achieved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remmebr and Mariah Waslie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remmebr and Mariah Waslie from claims arising out of Your Content or your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the rights granted to you here end.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Minnesota/United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
